Our Thank You for Caring Coneflower is one of Judy’s favorite sets and she uses it often, and to perfection, I might add! Today she did some ink blending on glossy cardstock which she used to stamp/die cut her image as well as for the die cut background panel. The results are so very soft, subtle and truly beautiful.

Only one stamp set was needed to create this card.

It is Thank You for Caring Coneflower by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The die set used to create the diamond cutout is Mixed Media #1 by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

Judy stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and clear embossed before coloring/cutting.

As an accent, Judy adds just that bit of Metallic String that she uses so often along with Kaisercraft Rhinestones.

Judy covered her background layer with printed vellum.

In Judy’s own words, here is what she did:

“Ink blending on glossy cardstock (for stamped images and corner die panels). Then I stamped with Nocturne ink and embossed with clear EP. Cut out coneflower and sentiment. Colored coneflower with Copics for extra shading/color. Cut out the corner die. Layered with printed vellum then popped up the coneflower, wrapped with metallic string, and adhered the sentiment.”
