Good Sunday morning. Wishing you all a Blessed Day! Today begins a week of floral inspiration at Stamp Simply and we begin with Judy. So many things happen in life where people could use an encouraging word from a friend. Judy created this lovely card of encouragement for a friend needing a lift and I am sure it will be well appreciated.

When we think of floral stamps, we typically feel the need to color them.

However, using the image uncolored is often just as lovely with a lot less time involved.

Judy added a pop of color with the background stenciling on today’s card and the result is STUNNING!

Both the tulip image and scripture verse are from Get Well Tulip by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The stenciling was done with the Flourish stencil by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

The Crochet die by Tim Holtz (Sizzix) was used to create the strip of paper lace.

A Spellbinders Standard Oval die set was used to cut the scripture.

The sentiment was stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black (so crisp for sentiments) while the stenciling was done with Distress Oxide Ink in Festive Berries.

Often when people are facing trials or troubling times, they don’t know what to do. This verse tells them exactly what to do – think about things that are excellent and praiseworthy – knowing that God is with you in your struggles.
