Good Friday morning. Deb is with us today sharing a lovely and very rustic bookmark (or tag) with a natural theme. She created a stunning embossed background replicating a tree ring and simply topped it off with bird, branches and a simple and encouraging sentiment. Perfect for either gender, this would make a lovely little gift as a bookmark or a wonderful tag for a package.

The base tag shape is cut using Tag Collection by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

That stunning background was dry embossed using the Tree Rings embossing folder by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

To add definition, Deb inked over the dry embossing with VersaFine Clair Pinecone ink.

The images and sentiment are from God Will Take Care of You by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

Deb stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic markers.

The ribbon Deb used is no longer available, but we do have many choices in our Canvas/Twill category that would work perfectly here.
