So Easy Bookmarks – by Deb Felts

The focus this week is on bookmarks or tags. They are so very versatile and pretty when used as tags and make a wonderful gift as bookmarks. And they couldn’t be any prettier or any easier than what Deb created to share today. Double-sided designer paper, a simple image, and a verse from scripture topped off with a bit of ribbon and DONE!

So very lovely!

Deb started with gorgeous double-sided papers from Retro Summer by Craft Consortium.

She cut the tags using Tag Collection by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

The wheat and scripture were stamped using Autumn Silhouettes by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

Deb understamped in Memento Gray Flannel ink and then overstamped in Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink, thus making it a bit hard to see in some photos with the shimmer on top.

Deb topped off her bookmarks with a 1″ Sheer Ribbon in silver and Burlap String with a few beads strung on.

The fun thing about double-sided paper is that it is just as pretty on the back.

For the back Deb added the circle reinforcement also in Tag Collection by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

The scripture verse on the back is from Salvation by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

Autumn Silhouettes by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps

These solid image stems are long, allowing for more layout options. If you want short stems, you can just stamp off the paper. And these 2 groups of stems are designed to be overlaid, one stamped on top of another.
