Good morning! Deb is here today sharing a lovely belly banded card featuring our Christmas angel. It’s a very interesting fold that requires starting with a 12 x 12″ piece of cardstock (tutorial links and suggestions further down). Deb used our NEW Angels Among Us stamp and die sets along with some lovely NEW Christmas paper in stock from Carta Bella.

That lovely angel image is from Angels Among Us by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

All that beautiful designer paper is from A Wonderful Christmas by Carta Bella.

The belly band holds the card together (closed) and holds the tag inside.

Here’s a closer look at our beautiful angel.

Deb stamps with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colors with Copic markers.

A bit of sparkly glitter was applied with a Wink of Stella Glitter Pen.

The greenery is cut using Holiday Greens Mini by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

This one starts with a 5.5 x 12 inch piece of card stock and some simple scoring.  When folded it kind of looks like a simple pocket card with a belly band…

but when it is opened you can see that there is a little more to it. Don’t be intimidated though… it really is not hard to do. It’s called either a Miura or mirror fold card. Click to see the tutorial.

This is the tag that is tucked inside.

The scripture verse is also from Angels Among Us by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The tag was cut using Tag Collection by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).
