Deb created a wonderful project for us today – a perpetual calendar that is a super fun make and would be a GREAT gift item. This is Deb’s perpetual calendar on display for Thanksgiving Day.

You could also use this as a Christmas countdown calendar as well!

What a gorgeous tabletop display!

Aside from the numbers, Deb has incorporated a panel for verses and images for each month/season.

Images and sentiments could even be used for birthdays, wedding months, etc. – so many fun ideas.

Here’s what Deb did – in her own words:

 “I used thin chipboard (the kind behind 12 x 12 paper pads) for the base, and several sheets of 12 x 12 card stock to cover it and assemble the shape.  Overall size is approximately 11.25 x 5 inches.  I used a “punch anywhere” punch to add the holes for the rings, hammering to punch through all the layers, front and back.“

The numbers are cut with the Countdown dies by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

The card/panel shapes are cut using Collector by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

The oak leaf and beautiful sentiment are from Give Thanks by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

Deb stamps with Memento Tuxedo Black and colors with Copic markers.
