Easter Card Selection – by Judy Rozema

Published by at 6 05 am under Uncategorized

Good Sunday morning and blessings to each and every one of you! We have so many beautiful cards in our archives by our very talented Design Team that I thought it would be fun from time to time to showcase some favorites. With Easter on the horizon, today we will be re-sharing some Easter favorites created by Judy. We love her crisp and clean work and find these Easter cards especially beautiful and inspiring. We hope you do, too!

We’ll start with a personal favorite of mine which is the epitome of an Easter card.

Judy created that beautiful sunrise using a Spellbinders Circle Die and masking tape as a stencil to create the rays.

The yellow paper on the bottom is from Ink Drops Sunset by Craft Consortium.

John 3:16 is from He Has Risen by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

Judy stamped using VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink.

She used a packaged floral and leaf die (similar here) atop the lace border.

The lace is our gorgeous Venise Lace in 1.75″ Valentina – White.

One of the mat layers is the Luxury Pearlescent Metallic 105# Cardstock in Gold.

Next up is our pretty decked out bunny all set for Easter!

The bunny is from Easter is for Jesus by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The daffodils are from He Lives by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The sentiment is from Farmhouse All Occasion Greetings by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

Judy’s overall layout is lovely using just circle dies – fun! Find circle dies in stock here (similar).

Judy stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and accented with narrow string (similar).

If truly clean and simple is your thing, this is the perfect card design for Easter.

The stenciled cross was created using our Crosses die set by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

Judy cut the large cross in the set from cardstock and then used the negative as her stencil. I love this technique as it extends the use of all your dies! Give it a try if you haven’t yet.

The beautifully scripted verse from scripture is from He Has Risen by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

That darling printed paper is from Bloom & Wild by Craft Consortium.

Judy stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and used Distress Oxide Shaded Lilac to stencil the cross.

I love how the cut cross and daffodils are spotlighted on this beautifully clean card.

The cross is cut using the die from Easter is for Jesus by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The florals are from He Lives by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

Judy stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black, clear embossed, and colored with alcohol markers, accenting with Kaisercraft Rhinestones in lilac.

Here is how Judy created that lovely spotlighted focal image:

“I stamped the daffodils from He Lives with VersaFine Onyx Black ink, and die cut the cross from the Easter is for Jesus Die Set. The cut out cross I embossed with Clear Embossing Powder, and then colored with alcohol markers. I matted the uncolored cut card panel to a purple piece of cardstock, and then popped it up on the yellow card base. The colored cross was then placed and popped up into the cross opening. I added a few Lilac Rhinestones around the image and die cut.

And this is the beautiful inside to the above card, making it a totally fabulous Easter creation!

The large scripture verse is from Easter by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

The daffodil in the corner is again from He Lives by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.

I love how that uncolored daffodil ties the card front to the inside so well.

And thank you so much, Judy, for all this lovely Easter inspiration!
