Good Monday morning. We are expecting a glorious new week ahead and what better way to start than with a scripture card of encouragement. Karen created this card featuring both our poppies and a lovely and larger beautifully scripted verse from Colossians. As detailed as this card appears at first glance, once broken down layer by layer it is truly an easy card to make relying on the larger image and verse as the focal points.

I LOVE the contrast of the tiny background print with the large focal floral.

The sweet printed papers are from Bright Blooms by Craft Consortium.

Tucked under, the lace border was die cut using Crochet by Tim Holtz (Sizzix).

The pretty ribbon treatment uses 2 colors of Seam Binding and Baker’s Twine.

I really love the combination of pink and green on this card.
