Here’s my interpretation of Jen’s fun sketch:
I don’t think I’ve made a card with this many layers in ages, maybe years! I’ve gotten away from so many matted layers for a simpler look, but tonight this just happened to end up with lots of layers, though it was not my intention! I LOVE these colors and papers — YES, from the Thrift Shop Pad by October Afternoon. Am I becoming addicted to that pad – -YES, I think so!!! I have it availabe as a pad alone, shown here, or in KIT form with ribbons to match, shown here. I used 1/2″ Wrinkled Ribbon in Black.
The clear stamp set I used is the Women’s Collection by Wordsworth, selling for $11.95. I just brought in 17 sets by Rubber Soul/Wordsworth to fill my current need for quick and simple — this is one of them that I really enjoy! To see the rest you can scroll down one post or click here.
Shopping:
Items used on this card available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store are the Thrift Shop DP (sold alone or as a KIT), Women’s Collection clear stamp set, Versa Fine Onyx Black Ink, 1/2″ Black Wrinkled Ribbon, Scor-Board.
This card, and others, are for sale on this page.

What a nice yellow and black card. Sure is pretty and bright. Reminds me of my younger days when cards were yellow and black on white of course. I also like the “Woman’s Collection” stamps. Nice that you have shown it along with the card that you have created with the stamps from the set.
Sharon, I love your matted layers……are you surprised ?!? Love all your diff. DP patterns and how well they go together. Great layout too. TFS
Omigosh, this is so wonderful, Sharon! So pretty … I LOVE that DP, and the color combination … not to mention that wonderful stamp set! I have a serious case of stamp-envy.
