Flat Wedding Card – by Sharon Johnson
Our youngest son attended a wedding on Saturday. He wanted a card and I got the usual request – make it as flat as possible. His issue is always the box with the slot to slide the cards into. He wants to make sure the card fits into the slot. So, obedient mother that I am, I made a very flat card – not even a pearl! Take a look:
It can’t get much thinner than this – and he was satisfied So the card was a success!!!
And being in a rush to get it done, I forgot to photo the inside.
I used 1 Corinthians 13 on the inside – my favorite Scripture for weddings. It’s from our set called Wedding Wishes.

These have a bit more thickness with the ribbon and pop dots under the sentiment.

Having flat wedding cards is NOT an issue for me, however. Knowing the card will never fit into the slot on the box, I just go totally wild with dimension and package the card up as if it were a gift and leave it on the table with the gifts.
I posted the details to this card on this post but wanted to share it again.
It has a pocket to hold a gift and/or sentiment panel and is packaged into a clear box all dressed up!
